  • HISTORY:
The Mesick Bulldog Bands are proud to hold a strong performing tradition at Mesick Consolidated Schools.

However, student learning is not held to music alone. Students gain the understanding of teamwork, diversity, dedication, and self-worth, as well as other numerous life-long lessons. With high student musical and individual expectations, a supportive band booster program, and an extremely supportive community, the Mesick Bands have:

    • performed in parades and clinics at Walt Disney World.
    • performed at the Mid-Michigan Music Educators Conference.
    • maintained 1st and 2nd division ratings at district and state festivals.
    • performed with local community bands, under such conductors as Kenneth Bloomquist (Michigan State University) and Craig Chissus (Kalkaska).
    • enjoyed being the official marching band for the Mesick Mushroom Festival.
    • performed for local community functions and events.
    • served the community proudly!
